Investment in connected vehicle market thanks to deal acted on by Corporate team

Beam Connectivity, a connected vehicle technology solutions developer, has received strategic equity investment from advanced engineering company WAE. The deal was advised on by Corporate Partner Derek Callanan and Senior Associate Peter Raybould.

The pioneers in connected vehicle systems are aiming to capitalise on growth predictions in the industry.

Investment from WAE will allow a scale-up of Beam Connectivity’s business while building its commercial team. The investment is also expected to lead to new opportunities for both companies.

The two companies have worked together on a variety of projects before, but are now working on longer-term solutions for their customers.

Peter Raybould, Senior Associate in the Corporate team, said: “WAE and Beam Connectivity have very clearly aligned goals, and it’s been a pleasure to help bring them together. I’m excited to see what the future holds for connected vehicles now that Beam Connectivity has received this investment.”
