Getting ready to make pedal power count, cyclists from our Cheltenham office are taking part in a spinathon for Maggie’s in Cheltenham organised by former Hazlewoods partner, Mark Beaney. Maggie’s offers advice and support to cancer sufferers, their families and carers.
Mark is planning to cycle the whole of the Tour de France distance in the UK at the same time as the real race; 2,100 miles in 21 days!
Team HCR will support Mark by dividing into two groups, completing 40-mile and 60-mile circuits, on Thursday 8 July; 11 people are taking part and they want to raise as much as possible for the charity.
Participant Steve Thomas said: “We are really looking forward to supporting Mark on this huge challenge and to helping to raise lots of money for an amazing charity.”
