Monthly Q&A for In-House Lawyers: Intellectual property – because it’s worth it

Did you know that the intangible asset value of a company can amount to 90% of enterprise (business) value?  Intangible assets such as a patents, designs, brand identity, trademarks, or copyright protected content – collectively your intellectual property (IP) – underpin business value and therefore should be protected at all costs.

Once protected, maximising the value of your IP is also a key consideration, as is avoiding infringement and disputes.

This session, led by our Head of IP Disputes, Steven Murray, and Trade Mark Attorney, Alice Wright, will cover a range of topics including:

  • Strategies to safeguard your organisation’s brand
  • Knowing your IP rights
  • Mitigating the risks of IP infringement

Our monthly Q&A starts with a brief and informal presentation, paving the way for an interactive discussion in a trusted space among peers.

If you have a particular question that you would like answered during the session, you can submit it in advance when registering.

Do you have a burning issue that can’t wait?  Or could you use a private chat?  Feel free to get in touch with Steven or Alice or our Head of In-House Lawyer Services, Elizabeth Beatty.

We are HCR and this is In-House with You – empowering in-house lawyers to remain invaluable within their organisations.
