May 22 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 PM
- “Is blockchain right for my business?”
- “Our buyers want to pay in crypto-currency. What do I do next?”
- “How is blockchain going to affect us?”
If your clients are asking you questions about blockchain you need to be able to advise them. And if they’re not already asking about it, they will be soon. It’s time to get ahead.
We are hosting an invitation-only breakfast seminar and round-table event joined by other professional advisors to hear from experts and discuss the issues affecting clients.
Dr. Maureen O. Mapp, University of Birmingham
In collaboration with UNAFRI, Maureen convened the first ever round table discussions (2016, 2017) on the policy, legal and socio-cultural implications of regulating distributed ledger technologies including cryptocurrency and the blockchain in Africa.
Dr. Adrian Burden
Dr Adrian Burden is co-founder and CTO of BlockMark Technologies Ltd, a blockchain software venture developing applications in crypto-collectibles, digital art IP management, and certification smart contracts. The company also delivers interactive executive training in blockchain technology. Adrian also curates the annual Malvern Festival of Innovation, is a founding director of the UK Cyber Security Forum CIC, and manages the Wyche Innovation Centre on the Malvern Hills. He was named a Maserati100 entrepreneur in The Sunday Times in February 2015 and is author of the business book Start To Exit. Aynsley is a chartered accountant and CEO of The Clarity Project, a new technology startup that is giving small businesses the power to take back control of and manage their own data. Using blockchain, the platform will enable them to access finance and early stage funding and investment, whilst giving the business owners unique insights into their business performance and growth potential.
Aynsley is a regular keynote speaker, author and is also the founder of a multi- award winning accounting firm, a fintech accounting startup and board member of The Cyber Trust.
Nicola McNeely, Partner, Commercial
Nicola regularly advises on the legal and regulatory aspects of implementing blockchain technology for enterprise, as well as raising capital through Security Token Offerings. She works closely with start-up and scale up disrupters with their market propositions, MVP and growth strategies, as well as large corporates on new technology adoption.
Our aim is to develop a roadmap so that together we can advise our clients on the opportunities and dangers of blockchain for business.
