Meet the movers and the new team at law firm’s Birmingham office

Leading law firm, Harrison Clark Rickerbys, announces new partner promotion, new Head of Office and family law team.

Lucy Barr, who works within Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ family team, has not only been promoted from Senior Associate to Partner but has also taken on the role of Head of the Birmingham office.

Lucy qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and moved to Harrison Clark Rickerbys in 2009 having previously worked for a small niche practice in Solihull specialising in high value ancillary relief which is the application for financial orders following the presentation of a petition for divorce, nullity or judicial separation. She also specialises in divorce, in particular, financial provision and issues surrounding children.

Alongside the promotions, the law firm is delighted to establish its new four-strong family law team at the Birmingham office, consisting of two partners, Lucy and Kevin Harris-James with Associate Solicitor, Anna Taylor and paralegal, Tabatha Quinney.

Kevin Harris-James is well regarded locally and nationally as one of the UK’s leading family lawyers. He is ranked as a 1st rate lawyer in the prestigious independent legal directory, Chambers and Partners 2015, and has a wealth of experience and expertise in all aspects and all levels of family law matters. He specialises in complex financial disputes, including those involving complex business and trust structures and those with an international dimension.

Anna qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and joined the Birmingham office of Harrison Clark Rickerbys in January 2015, having previously worked for high profile firms in the Birmingham city centre. She specialises in divorce and relationship breakdown, in particular, matters involving money and property, disputes concerning children (including cases with an international element), civil partnership disputes, domestic violence, pre- and post-marital agreements and deals with cases of high net worth.

Anna is also a Family Mediator and has been admitted as a trained mediator member of the College of Mediators. She offers a mediation service from the Edgbaston office.
