Going from strength to strength in Cardiff, Harrison Clark Rickerbys (HCR) has expanded its real estate, family law and employment teams in the first six months of opening in the city.
Partner Andrea Thomas joined the employment team, strengthening the team at a time when employment has been high on the national agenda across all sectors. The team is now led by partner Chris Mayers, whose broad experience includes representing NHS organisations and handling whistleblowing or discrimination cases.
Real estate expert and partner Justin Mason has also joined the Cardiff team, with the property market revival underway – he specialises in developments and commercial property. Consultant Malcolm Stevens, who has considerable experience in family law, has also joined the team.
Hefin Archer-Williams, head of the Cardiff office, said: “To have expanded the team in spite of lockdown is evidence of the demand from clients for what we offer – it has been a busy few months, and we have needed to be flexible and agile in how we work, but I am delighted to welcome Andrea and Justin and to see Chris take the lead for employment.
“While the last few months have had their challenges, it has been great for the team who established the office to find themselves very busy in the market place; Nicola McNeely, for instance has relished bringing the resources of the whole firm to her vision for Wales, as head of technology, taking a key part in the first Wales Tech Week. We’re looking forward to expanding further.”
