Expert advice for charities at quarterly event

Charity trustees and professionals in the charity sector came together for the latest Charities Check-In event, focusing on ‘Protecting your charity: your responsibilities’, hosted by the HCR Hewitsons charities team.

This series provides an opportunity for trustees, charity professionals, or those with responsibilities to charities, to join our specialist team for discussion and to share best practice. With an update followed by breakout rooms, the event was led by speakers Virginia Henley, Stephen Cole, Saffa Mir and Ben Moorhead.

Head of charities Virginia Henley said afterwards: “We are very pleased to have hosted our latest Charities Check-in meeting online. We had a great discussion with a diverse gathering of charity professionals, especially with regards to the responsibilities and precautions needed to protect their charities’ assets. We will be hosting our next meeting in October and we look forward to another lively discussion.”
