New senior hires for HCR family law team

Taking the lead on family law in London and the Thames Valley are Louise Walker and Kate Grant, the latest leading lawyers to join the Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ (HCR) family law team, further boosting the already-strong team’s reputation for expertise and sound legal advice.

Louise, formerly with Weightmans, joins as head of family law in the firm’s London office, while Kate starts her role as head of family law in the Reading office, having previously been a partner with Clifton Ingram for many years. Both join as divorce specialists, with expertise in financial aspects and issues relating to children following divorce.

The two join as the family law team extend their reach across the country, with teams now in nine of the firm’s 11 offices.

Kate Grant said: “I’ve had such a warm welcome from everyone at HCR. After many years in the family law arena, I’m excited to be able to help families overcome their issues with the full support of a fantastic team.”

Louise Walker said: “It’s been great to join such a renowned family law team – I’m really excited to work alongside professionals who are experts in their field. I am looking forward to bringing my own brand of socially responsible family law to the London arena.”

James Grigg, Head of Family Law said: “We really welcome Louise and Kate to the team. They are an excellent example of how much the family law team has to offer – our team is not only growing but drawing in major talent from City firms.”
