Recognition of the excellent legal services which Harrison Clark Rickerbys gives to businesses across the south west and beyond has come from the UK’s two leading legal directories.
Both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners selected outstanding individuals from the firm’s teams and acknowledged the commitment and commercial approach of the teams involved.
The corporate and commercial team in Cheltenham, led by Rich Wilkey, was said to be ‘excellent in all respects – responsive, knowledgeable, professional but approachable”, with expertise of Rachael Reeves also acknowledged. Senior partner Richard Knight was singled out as a leader in his field, and the firm’s Head of International Nicolas Groffman was also recognised for his China-focused practice.
The firm’s banking team, led by Harry Bengough (also a notable practitioner), has a ‘knowledgeable and commercial approach’ – Tim Littler is singled out too, as are Adam Finch, who heads the commercial litigation team in Cheltenham, along with Fiona Hayles, Jenny Raymond, Andrew Cave and Andrew Walker as well as Clare Day, demonstrating how the team can call on property finance and litigation expertise as well.
The thriving real estate market in the south west is well served by the team, described as ‘big enough to be a serious player…small enough to be responsive, accessible and very knowledgeable of its clients.’ Mark Carter, who heads the team, is singled out as a leader in his field, with experience and expertise from Mark Fabian and Annabel Hull recognised.
Jenny Okafor-Jones’ employment is also acknowledged as among the top ranking teams in the region, and the firm’s growing expertise in professional negligence is recognised too.
Carolyn Green, who leads the Cheltenham family law team, is recognised as a notable practitioner, and the team is ‘specialist, well-prepared and thorough.’ Mark Hartley and Alex Taylor, who handle estate planning and tax matters, including high net worth individuals, business and land owners, are also recommended.
Rich said: “Recognition like this is an excellent accolade for both individuals and teams. One of the many strengths we have here is the ability to draw in experts to address every aspect of a client’s needs – a commercial property issue may need banking and finance expertise, and a major deal could need employment or immigration advice as part of the package. We work together in a very flexible and practical way to give the best and most commercial advice possible, which clients clearly value.”
