11th April 2023

Harrison Clark Rickerbys (HCR) has appointed commercial litigation specialist Wayne Beynon as head of its distinguished Dispute Resolution team.

The team, which has grown significantly over recent years with a large presence in each of the firm’s regional offices, has been bolstered to incorporate specialists within real estate, commercial, tech and intellectual property litigation, giving clients access to experts, across all areas of disputes.

Wayne’s appointment represents a commitment to build on HCR’s position as a Top 60 law firm. Wayne will succeed Richard Morgan who has stepped down to focus on his work in the Defence and Security sector.

Wayne is recognised as a top-tier litigator with an impressive track record of handling complex and high value commercial disputes across a range of sectors. Commenting on his appointment, HCR managing partner, Rod Thomas, said: “I am delighted that Wayne will assume leadership of the firm’s dispute resolution practice. Wayne has the qualities to drive the team forward and establish it as a market-leading offering.”

Wayne added: “Richard Morgan has done an outstanding job of taking this team from its humble beginnings to one which now includes more than 60 lawyers. I’m honoured to be taking the reins and look forward to working with colleagues and the leadership team to ensure the continued success of the firm.”
