Where there’s a will – lawyers support St David’s Hospice

Supporters of St David’s Hospice Care will be able to donate to the charity and put their affairs in order at the same time, as lawyers from Harrison Clark Rickerbys inc Shawcross’s Wye Valley office are offering will writing services which benefit the charity.

The hospice, based in Newport, has become the UK’s largest provider of Hospice at Home care, caring for over 3,200 patients and families every year across Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and within South and Mid Powys, at a cost of over £7.9m.

The will writing scheme means that supporters can have their wills drafted at a cost of £100, or £180 for mirror wills, plus VAT, with half of the fee going to the hospice to support its work.

David King, who heads the office’s wills, trusts and estates team, said: “We are very proud to be able to support the hospice’s invaluable work; many people want to find a way to give money to a charity which does so much for so many, and this is a very practical way to do that.”
