Alice is an associate specialising in planning and infrastructure law, with experience of advising on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious planning matters, under both the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Planning Act 2008. She has a particular interest in both the energy sector and the agricultural sector.
She has previously worked in private practice for firms in London and Birmingham and in-house for a renewable energy developer and national utility company.
Alice acts on behalf of a range of clients, including large and small commercial and residential developers, public authorities and landowners and can advise on all planning agreements such as planning performance agreements, s106 Agreements and asset protection agreements as well as other highways and infrastructure agreements.
She is able to advise on all other matters affecting development, such as town and village greens, public rights of way, protected species, and tree preservation orders. Alice also advises on issues arising in relation to listed buildings, conservation areas, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the green belt.
Alice has worked at Eversheds, Bircham Dyson Bell, and in-house at Centrica. She has also worked for Camden Borough Council in London as well as the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority – as well as her law degree, she also has a degree in pathology from the University of Bristol.
Alice has just relocated back to Herefordshire where she was born and brought up and she is looking forward to enjoying all the county can offer.
