When you need someone to fight your corner, you can count on me. As an experienced family lawyer and mediator, my skills and expertise make a real difference to people’s lives. I recognise the difficulties you might be facing, and I’ll support and advise you with patience and understanding.
I help people from all kinds of backgrounds, from stay at home mums and dads to company directors and busy professionals. I work closely with the police on domestic abuse issues, and I’ve established successful legal surgeries for staff within West Mercia Police and the Worcestershire NHS, helping people who might not otherwise have the time to visit me.
Out of the office, I love getting out and about – you’ll often find me walking the dog, and I enjoy going to concerts. I’m also involved in a number of charity and local community projects.
Be prepared to compromise – family disputes are never straightforward, and a fair outcome for everyone will make things easier moving forward.
Put your children first and don’t involve them in the dispute.
Seek advice as soon as possible, and be open and honest when you speak to me so that I can fully understand the problem.
What is your level of experience?
I’ve been practising all aspects of family law for over 25 years. I’m also a qualified mediator, and I use these skills in every case to get the best outcomes for my clients.
Can you explain my options, not just the procedure?
I’ll always give you an indication of what to expect and how to resolve it – for example, what child arrangements could look like, or how best to handle the finances. Once we’ve discussed the options, I’ll then work with you to find the best result for you family.
Does this have to go to court and get out of control?
Absolutely not – I’ll look at all the other options first and try my best to negotiate for you. If it does need to go to court, I’ll support you throughout the process.
Will I be okay?
It might not seem like it at the start, but yes, you will be. Divorces is a common occurrence these days and many people have experienced what you’re currently going through. Once you understand the options available to you, it’ll all start to come together.
