A bit about me

Working as a commercial, technology and intellectual property lawyer keeps me in touch with my clients, their day-to-day business activities, and their more unique projects. Establishing the trust of my clients and gaining their confidence is key, not only for developing strong long-term working relationships but also so that I can add value to their businesses from the outset.

I work with a wide range of businesses within the start-up/scale-up phase who are seeking growth or have fast-growth potential. I also support established SMEs, blue chip companies and multinational companies.

Outside work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. My top sports are golf and skiing; I very much hope to get back out on the slopes soon!

Want to know more?

Get in touch with us early to ensure that any problems or obstacles can be overcome without delaying the project. This will also give us the opportunity to suggest alternatives that you or your other advisers may not have considered.

Provide us with as much information as you can, even if you don’t think that it’s entirely relevant to what we are doing for you. You should also keep us regularly updated as things change.

Keep focused on your overall objectives and be prepared to be pragmatic and flexible to achieve those objectives.

How long will the process take?

Every commercial transaction is different, but we will do whatever we can to work to your desired timeline. Drafting and finalising of contracts often results in additional aspects of negotiation between the parties; the conclusion of a contract will often hinge on how quickly the parties come to a resolution.

How much is it going to cost?

This depends on the scope of our instructions, the complexity of the matter and the extent of work involved. We will work with you to establish an understanding of those factors and provide you with an accurate estimate of our likely fees. We may be able to reduce the scope of our work to bring our estimate in line with your specific budget.
