A bit about me

For me, litigation is like a puzzle – it requires a keen eye, a head for detail and a calm, measured approach. I take all the different facets of a case, put them all together, and come up with the best possible solution.

I have acted for high-profile individuals (including F1 drivers, professional footballers and Hollywood actors) and business people, including company directors, property developers and bridging lenders. No matter who I am working with, I consider that I am very approachable and I will make sure things are done on time, cost-effectively and in your best interests. Further, having originally trained as a barrister, I am used to the intricacies of the Court and all aspects of dispute resolution.

I have particular experience in banking and financial services litigation as well as company disputes, including shareholders disputes. Further I have considerable experience in cross-border litigation and have represented both corporates and individuals all over the world.

I have previously worked for both a Magic Circle firm, as an in-house lawyer and for various offshore firms. During this time, I have developed a network of international contacts and a solid, entrepreneurially mentality.

In my spare time, I love writing, music, films and travelling. I often try and combine these passions by attending the Cannes Film Festival or Coachella in California. I also love sport, and I am trying to teach my four-year-old son football.

Want to know more?

Communicate and cooperate with me. I’m acting in your best interests, and I need you to be part of the ‘team’ so I can get the best result for you.

Don’t be afraid to make suggestions to me. Sometimes, the best results are achieved when we think outside the box, and your input is often extremely valuable.

Learn from your mistakes. We all make them! Often, clients want to resolve disputes involving badly drafted contracts or terms and conditions. Next time, make sure a solicitor reviews these in the first instance to avoid costly litigation.

How much will the case cost?

This is usually an extremely tricky question to answer, especially in litigation. I’ll always discuss costs through with you and try to fix them where possible – if we can’t fix them, then I’ll update you throughout the process.

What are my chances of success?

I’ll discuss the matter in detail with you and inform you of any potential risks. I don’t believe in sugar-coating my advice, so I’ll make sure you’re aware of the risks, so you can make an informed decision, and do everything legally possible to obtain the best result I can.
