As a family lawyer, it’s my job to help people find practical solutions to their problems and improve their lives. I ensure that I’m on-hand when situations arise and look to find the best way forward to meet my clients’ needs.
Where possible, I try to provide alternative solutions to problems in order to help my clients progress in the best way possible. I am an approachable person, and offer guidance at every stage in the process. My legal specialisms include divorce, finances on divorce, co-habitation and children’s matters.
Every client’s personal needs are unique to them, which is why I take the time to understand each client’s individual needs and ensure a tailored personal approach is adopted to find a suitable solution.
Outside work, I love to travel and walk my dog in the countryside. I also enjoy playing hockey and swimming.

How can I get divorced?
Getting divorced involves applying to the court as a sole of a joint applicant. There is a court fee payable when the application is made.
Is going to court a likely first step?
No, there are many other options to consider before going to court dependent on the type of issue that needs to be addressed. Court tends to be a last resort to consider when other methods of resolution have been exhausted. The aim is to always try to find a fair resolution in a time and cost-effective manner.
How much will it cost?
This depends on the process and nature of the issues to be dealt with. Great care will be taken to estimate costs and work out a plan to make sure you’re fully informed every step of the way.
