A former Intelligence Analyst with the British Army, Emma served for four years in the Intelligence Corps. During her time in the military she was a subject matter expert (SME) focused on current affairs and incident reaction in the Middle East and Africa. Emma became actively involved in the development of Cyber, Open Source research and related technologies, delivering training packages to various organisations working with the MoD.

Since leaving the military, Emma has remained active in the technology sector by consulting on training and development projects. Emma remains current on social media analytics and is passionate about effective social media marketing and cyber security.

Emma is currently studying Law at University of Birmingham, specialising in core modules relating to the Defence and Security sector including Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security. Emma also retains awareness in current affairs, studying African Environments and Development in the School of Anthropology at the University of Birmingham.

Emma is security cleared and experienced in dealing with sensitive materials.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys running and keeping fit. She summited Kilimanjaro in 2013 in aid of Help for Heroes and learned to wing walk whilst injured in the same year. Emma also enjoys reading, particularly travel writing and autobiography.

Emma is passionate about the Defence and Security sector, and proud to assist those who support national and international security.
