I have worked in the UK and Europe a good deal, specialising in commercial and competition law – competition law, especially, can play a crucial part in both small and global businesses’ success, because abuse of competition rules can be commercially and financially devastating.
My experience of both contentious and non-contentious competition law matters, including the exchange of information, cartels, abuse of dominance, state aid, and merger control, has brought me into contact with companies at every level, including leading US, Japanese and European businesses.
Competition and commercial law affect all sectors of business and industry and I have particular experience in the IT, internet, and communications sectors. But because I’ve just finished a graduate degree in agriculture, I’m also especially interested in the food and farming sectors.
I have worked in London and Brussels and have litigated in the European Courts in Luxembourg, so my experience is broad, working with clients ranging from SMEs to multi-national companies.
