My work brings me into contact with a wide range of people, many of whom are planning for their future or that of their family, and I am happy to be able to put their minds at rest and help them at such an important and often difficult time. From newlyweds and new parents to those approaching retirement and considering sorting out their affairs, I know that clear communication is vital and I like to think that I am very approachable.
Outside work, I’m passionate about theatre, especially musicals, and I enjoy travelling. I particularly love visiting France, the French language and French culture.
Make a will to ensure that your wishes are respected when you die.
Keep a detailed list of your assets and liabilities and update it regularly.
Review your will every couple of years and contact us if your circumstances change – for example, if you move house.
Can an executor benefit under a will?
Yes, an executor can also be a beneficiary.
I’m young – do I need to set up a Lasting Power of Attorney?
No one can predict the future, so it is a good idea to set up an LPA in case you lose capacity, for example as a result of a sporting accident. You can set up LPAs for health and welfare issues and/or property and financial affairs.
