Working with a wide variety of people and businesses, my real reward is seeing my clients achieve their property goals – each transaction is different, and I make sure that the help and advice I give each client is tailored to what they need.
It is my job to overcome problems which crop up and to focus on getting the deal done so that companies, landowners, investors or landlords and tenants have the property they need and want.
Outside work, I spend time with family and friends and love city breaks for their combination of culture, history and great food.
Get all your ducks in a row when first instructing your solicitor – ensure you have all your paperwork/deeds/reports etc ready.
Be realistic with deadlines – your solicitor can explain all of the steps of the transaction so that you know how much and what work is involved.
How fast can you complete the transaction?
This is often asked at the start of a transaction, but the answer is different for every matter. It will depend on a variety of factors – how much due diligence has to be done, enquiries that have to be responded to or asked, whether there is a lender or another solicitor is involved, and what type of property is involved.
