A bit about me

Every parcel of land presents unique issues and opportunities, meaning no two real estate transactions are the same and a blend of research and problem solving is required. I bring not only my legal expertise but practical and transferable knowledge to the table. I am determined to bring a pragmatic approach to achieve the best outcome for clients and always remain responsive to evolving facts and requirements as transactions progress.

Instructed by a broad range of clients concerning a variety of properties – residential or commercial – I mostly work on larger-scale land transfers, particularly new developments, on behalf of landowners or developers.

Outside work, I enjoy travelling, photography and cooking.

Want to know more?

What happens when you investigate titles?

I will prepare a Report on Title to highlight the key issues for you to be aware of.

How long does the Land Registry take to register a document or transaction?

This is hard to say but since March 2020 I have seen it take as little as three weeks and as long as 14 months, depending on the complexity of the transaction.

How will we keep legal costs in check?

We allocate work across the team so that costs do not spiral; I will update you regularly on present and anticipated costs.
