A bit about me

Keeping my client’s business objective at the forefront of my mind is a key aspect of my approach to legal advice.

I advise on business to business contracts, including in relation to the supply and acquisition of technology services, and with an increasing focus on SaaS and cloud hosting arrangements. I have advised in a range of industry sectors including software and technology, financial services, automotive, media and telecoms,
pharmaceutical and the university spin-off sector. Commercially focused advice is absolutely key in all of these sectors.

My background in intellectual property means I can also advise you on the acquisition and disposal of IP rights in a variety of contexts, including business sales, and licensing and collaboration transactions.

Long term assignments to GlaxoSmithKline, where I have worked as an integral part of the in-house legal team, and a previous secondment to Citigroup, have given me an invaluable opportunity to work hand in hand with business teams and other stakeholders, with legal implications being a central part of the decision-making process.

As well as technology and IP related contracts, I also assist clients with the drafting and negotiation of other commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, consultancy contracts, supply of goods and services’ contracts, and franchising agreements.
