OUR PEOPLE

Susie Crompton

Conveyancing Technician (CLC) Residential Property Real Estate

About me

From the first dream home to a beloved family home, our houses are very important to all of us and I have always enjoyed working in residential property; it is challenging, rewarding and never dull. I am committed to finding the answers clients need to make the right decisions for them, and will go the extra mile to help them.

My work covers selling, buying, re-mortgaging and transferring freehold and leasehold properties, from the first quote to the final completion.

I work with a wide range of people, from first time buyers to those re-mortgaging or selling a home as an executor – any property transaction can be stressful and my role is to support my clients and give them all the facts they need.

Outside work, I love spending time with my family and friends and I am a huge Elvis fan.

Inspiring confidence for property sale and purchase

Susie Crompton’s efficiency was met with praise from a couple selling their home and purchasing another.  They said: “Throughout the process, which was successfully completed in June 2021, Susie inspired confidence in us; she was thorough and efficient, despite the additional challenges created by the pandemic.  “Susie has a warm sense of humour and proved herself capable of both supporting and chivvying – both were needed!”

Expert support under pressure on house purchase

Susie Crompton’s expertise and calm professionalism drew praise from clients buying a house in Herefordshire but also selling their property in Scotland. They said: “My husband and I recently purchased a house in Herefordshire. Susie Crompton handled the purchase on our behalf. We had a shortened timescale to complete due to pressure from our buyers in Scotland, and the house was in a conservation area/private road so not straight forward. “From the beginning we realised that Susie provided us with information, and asked questions of the seller, that no one had ever bothered to discuss with us before in previous purchases. We felt totally informed about what we were buying, and Susie got the purchase through in record time. “On the last day a solicitor, early on in the chain, had failed to draw down mortgage funds, which led to us completing very late afternoon and collecting the keys at 5.20pm. Susie stuck it out with us and got us into our property that day. I will be forever grateful for that support. “I would recommend Susie without hesitation as she deserves recognition for her hard work on the purchase of my property.”

House sale and purchase amid pandemic

Susie Crompton’s expertise helped a couple sell one home and buy another, despite restrictions and complications – they were delighted and said: “We used HCR to help us sell one home and buy another over the summer of 2020. We were represented by Susie Crompton, and the level of service and support was second to none. “Buying and selling homes is stressful at the best of times, but this year the stress was heightened more so by national lock downs and restrictions we faced. “However, Susie was always responsive and on hand to help us and to ensure our sale and purchase went smoothly and according to plan. Susie's sense of humour throughout was a big bonus and we can’t thank Susie enough, and will definitely use HCR again for our next property sale or purchase".
