Helping people at times of crisis is very important to me, whether they are contemplating divorce or separation, making decisions about their finances or considering arrangements for their children. I enjoy building relationships with clients and helping them to get the best outcome.
I’m used to dealing with a wide range of people, including members of the wider family rather than just parents or couples, and I am empathetic, practical and responsive.
Outside work, I enjoy travelling, festivals and gigs and netball.
Keep me updated about your life and any changes to your plans or desired outcomes so that I can adapt my approach to get you the best results. I can give you the best advice if I fully understand your instructions.
Don’t be afraid to reach out for support when emotions are running high and stress gets too much. I will do all that I can to alleviate the stress, but external support from a counsellor or therapist might help you to cope with the pressure.
Think long term. I will help you get out of your current situation and we need to focus on your long term goals to find the best solution for you to make sure you are able to move on.
How much will it cost?
This will vary greatly depending on the nature of your case. However, I will provide you with a costs estimate at the outset, tailored to the individual direction of your case, and will keep you updated throughout,.
How long will my divorce take?
A straightforward divorce usually takes between four to six months to move through the courts, provided both parties complete the relevant paperwork on time. However, dealing with the attendant financial issues and any disputes regarding arrangements for children can take far longer. If court intervention is required, it can easily take 12-18 months to resolve matters in full.
