Coordinator (Tribunals) – Employment and Immigration

Our 40-strong, award-winning Employment and Immigration team offers specialist advice and support on everything from employment contracts and polices to settlement agreements, restructuring, TUPE, grievances, discipline and bullying. We have unrivalled expertise in discrimination issues, including gender pay, mental health and sexual harassment cases as well as immigration experts who can help individuals with visa applications or companies hoping to bring employees to the UK.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Hereford and Wye Valley teams (3 days per week in Hereford, 2 in Wye Valley) working with one of our key clients. This is a largely administrative role, but we need someone who has first class communication skills, the ability to multitask and someone with a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

• Be the central point of communication and information for the client team
• Liaise with client over receipt and provision of documentation, arrangement of meetings and support for Tribunal witnesses
• Responsible for diarising key dates on all ET claims
• Open files and take responsibility for ensuring contract protocols complied with and files are HCR and Lexcel – compliant
• Close files and ensure safe and compliant archiving of completed cases
• Support Lead Partner with billing
• Liaise with Chambers over booking Counsel, negotiating fees and invoicing
• Responsible for keeping Client Portal up-to-date, running reports and liaising with team tech specialist
• Responsible for document management on all client files – gather, print, file, label and organise documents; analyse documents to identify omissions; liaise with fee earners and client
• Preparation and printing of bundles, witness statements and other papers for Tribunal, including e-bundles as appropriate
• Drafting chronologies and other court documentation under supervision of fee earners
• Organise, take notes and circulate actions for Client team meetings
• Identify opportunities for time and efficiency savings in the running of the contract and liaise with Lead Partner to implement, where appropriate
• Take responsibility for and attend to self-development
• Undertake any other duties within the general level and experience expected of the role
