Harrison Clark Rickerbys are seeking a Legal Secretary with prior relevant experience to join their busy Family team on a fixed term basis of up to 12 months to cover maternity leave. This is a full time position working in our busy central Birmingham office.
You will provide secretarial support to the Family team, including a Partner. You will preferably have current or recent legal secretarial experience and have fast and accurate typing skills, including audio, and be comfortable with using online case management systems (ideally SOS) although training will be provided in this. Strong administration and organisation skills are required – including diary management.
You will also be responsible for general administrative duties and ensuring that files are kept up to date. Specific Family experience would be an advantage. Good communication skills are a necessity and candidates should demonstrate professionalism and empathy in their dealings with clients, as well as being an approachable and friendly team player.
