Legal Secretary – Real Estate – Thames Valley

We are looking for a proactive and eager individual to join our busy Real Estate team in our Thames Valley office.

The successful candidate will provide support to both Partners and fee earners, so must be well organised, be able to multi task and to manage changing priorities with a pro-active approach to their work. Experience working within the legal sector in a real estate team is essential.

As well as basic secretarial duties such as audio typing and taking telephone calls, you will be responsible for general administrative duties, including photocopying and file opening and closing using our case management system. Ideally you will have significant working experience of Microsoft packages as well as Case Management Systems and Digital Dictation. You need to have strong organisational skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines, and preferably experience of working in a professional services office environment.

The successful candidate should be familiar with preparing and submitting Land Registry forms, Stamp Duty Land Tax forms and editing and amending basic contracts for land, leases and transfers in accordance with instructions from fee earners.This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join our friendly team and work within a supportive structure.
