Carrie Fisher, George Michael, Victoria Wood….

3rd January 2017

..are just 3 of the hugely talented people we’ve remembered recently who admitted to millions during their lifetimes that they’d had periods of mental illness. We admire them more, not less, for it.

Yet, according to CIPD, although around a third of our employees in the UK have experienced mental ill health during periods of employment, less than half of them have ever felt able to tell us about it.

We see ourselves as supportive employers, so what’s going on and is there anything we can/ should be doing about it?

Come and join us at Renishaw plc on Thursday, 19 January 2017 for “Measuring Employee Well-Being”, our second half-day conference in aid of MIND.  We have great keynote speakers, and are now also pleased to be able to announce that there will be an opportunity to see some brand-new technology designed by a former employee who has navigated this path herself, to help employers get ahead on this issue.

The doors are open to anyone working in and around Gloucestershire who wants to learn more in an informal environment about this topical, complex and increasingly important workplace issue.
