Acquiring the old Debenhams site in Gloucester for the University of Gloucestershire

The University acquired the freehold of the former Debenhams Store in Gloucester, as part of its development of a city centre campus. The City Campus will form part of a much-needed regeneration of Gloucester City Centre and is at the centre of Gloucester’s successful £20m bid to the Government’s Levelling Up Fund. Such is the significance of the transaction it was awarded the Property Deal of the Year in the South West Insider Property Awards 2021.
