12 East Anglian businesses have been selected for the next stage of our Impact55 programme.
Now in its second year, Impact55 supports start-ups using technology to deliver positive social and environmental change. The initiative offers legal support packages to successful applicants across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.
The overall winner will receive £25,000, with up to three runners-up each awarded £10,000. These funds can be used for any business-related legal advice offered by HCR.
Judges will select the winner based on their impact and growth potential.
The number of applications exceeded last year’s inaugural programme. The 12 businesses going through to pitch in the next stage are:
- Cellestial Health Ltd
- Cellexcel Ltd
- iBOXiT
- Shuffle Energy
- Neutreeno
- Serenatis Bio
- Nu Quantum
- Wave Photonics Ltd
- Finkele Ltd
- NANOPLUME LTD
- CamGene Therapeutics Limited
- Vital Signs Solutions Ltd.
The shortlisted businesses span sectors including biotechnology, energy, manufacturing, logistics and environmental. All have already raised funding and are now seeking support to prepare for the next stage of their business journey.
Inger Anson, Partner and Head of Technology and Innovation at HCR Law, said: “We’re delighted with the response to Impact55, which highlights the strength of East Anglia’s entrepreneurial community.
