HCR Law partners with the National Association of Special Schools

HCR Law is now an official partner of the National Association of Special Schools (NASS), helping special schools in England and Wales access expert legal support.

NASS offers specialist training, events, policy updates and sector insights to a growing network of more than 460 member schools. Members also benefit from discounted rates on products and services from NASS partners.

As a full-service law firm, HCR Law is equipped to support NASS members across property, commercial, employment, corporate and regulatory matters. Our Healthcare and Education teams work together to provide tailored advice to special schools.

The Healthcare team includes more than 40 legal specialists, with a dedicated children’s services sub-team. Leading the way in sector development, the team advises on innovative solutions to help providers respond to industry pressures, policy changes and regulatory challenges.

Our children’s services specialists work with independent fostering agencies, nurseries and residential homes. They regularly support providers with Ofsted and DfE inspection responses, complaints about ratings or inspector conduct and enforcement actions.

HCR’s nationally recognised Education team has advised the sector for over 50 years. Led by Kristine Scott, a leading expert in SEND, the team supports clients with SEND law, Education, Health and Care Plans, data protection and discrimination claims.

The wider Education team includes employment, property and corporate specialists to meet the full range of special schools’ legal needs.
