I make it my job to not just know the law, but also to understand how it applies to each client’s case. I can then work to obtain the best solution in the circumstances, always bearing in mind the commercial realities of the client’s situation.  

I advise and assist on property matters, mainly within a commercial context, including landlord and tenant. Where appropriate, I conduct litigation for claimants and defendants.  

I also this a commercial contract, public law and information-privacy law context. 

I have helped clients secure successes including: 

• Settling proceedings for alleged breach of repairing covenant. 

• Conducting multiple claims for possession, including making use of the interim possession order procedure (IPO). 

• Defending adverse possession claims, including conducting the advocacy at a fast-track trial of such a matter. 

• Defending statutory review claims in opposition of Compulsory Purchase Orders. 

• Settling an alleged multi-million-pound claim under a demolition and construction funding agreement on behalf of a defendant client, for £0. 

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, playing pool, cooking, craft beer and a good TV crime drama.
