My interest in property began early, growing up around the residential estate agency sector gave me a practical appreciation of how important property is to individuals and businesses. I was drawn to commercial real estate because of the variety it offers, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals and portfolio management.
I act for a range of clients, including commercial landlords, tenants and private landowners. My recent experience includes acting for a national adult gaming centre operator on the acquisition of high street commercial premises and advising a landlord cllient on the acquisition, refurbishment and subsequent letting of a renovated office building in Worcester.
My work includes drafting and negotiating commercial leases, lease renewals, agreements for lease, licences, deeds of variation, rent deposit deeds, landlord and tenant portfolio management, acquisitions, disposals and property due diligence.
I take time to understand what each client wants to achieve commercially, so I can provide clear, practical advice tailored to their objectives. I keep clients informed throughout a matter, explain legal issues clearly and help identify potential problems early. Clients value my responsive and approachable style, attention to detail and focus on the wider commercial picture.
Outside work, I enjoy country walks with my dog, travelling and exploring new places. I am also a keen supporter of Gloucester Rugby and enjoy following local cricket fixtures.
