As a commercial real estate lawyer, I advise on a range of matters including freehold acquisitions and disposals, and landlord and tenant work. I also specialise in secured property finance (with a focus on agricultural property), the acquisition of land for development, and Option and Promotion Agreements.

Questions my clients ask me
Real estate transactions can vary depending on several factors, such as the complexity of the deal, the parties involved and due diligence requirements. Typically, a straightforward transaction (if such transaction exists) might take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months. However, if there are additional elements like financing, planning approvals etc, it can take longer. I always aim to keep the process moving efficiently and will keep my client updated at every stage, so that they know what to expect and when.
Yes definitely. I believe it is important that every client fully understands every part of the process, so I always take the time to explain the legal terms and documents in plain, straightforward language. My job is to make sure the client feels confident and informed at every step of the way.
