I’ve spent more than 20 years advising on employment law, but my experience extends beyond the law. Having previously been a board member and shareholder, I understand first-hand the pressures of running a business and the importance of getting people decisions right.
I’m fascinated by people and workplace culture. Taking the time to understand both helps me become a true business partner to my clients, supporting their growth while helping them manage risk.
I work with international and national organisations across the private and public sectors, from FTSE companies to small and medium-sized enterprises. I have a particular focus on supporting boards and senior leaders with people strategy, leadership, senior-level disputes, director and shareholder disputes and legal compliance.
For me, the law is only one part of the picture. I always ask why, what we’re trying to achieve and what’s best for the business. That means looking beyond the immediate legal issue and considering the wider commercial impact of the decisions my clients make.

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends over wine and nibbles, cooking and eating out, travelling and curling up with a good book and a cup of tea. My life goal is to visit 200 countries.
