Why choose me

I specialise in employment law, people-related strategic projects and complex investigations. I’m passionate about helping teams understand their strengths and supporting companies with their growth plans.

After completing my law degree, I spent eight years in HR across in-house and consultancy roles. Upon qualifying into practice, I joined a trade union law firm’s equal pay unit; here, I qualified as a solicitor and became part of the national employment rights team.

I later moved to a commercial firm, combining my HR and legal expertise to deliver a streamlined support service. I built an in-house HR projects and investigations team.

I get to the root of your organisation to understand its current and future needs, creating a safe space for leaders to share strengths and weaknesses. I provide commercial and practical troubleshooting advice on legal and HR strategy.

I look at issues from a variety of perspectives: as your employment lawyer and people strategist, but also through the lens of a trade union representative, board member and employee. This holistic view means I can offer comprehensive, commercially focused, clear and concise support.

I’ve worked with businesses in technology, education, automotive and public sectors, as well as sports and media – from tech start-ups and sporting bodies to broadcasters, local authorities and universities.

Outside work, I enjoy travel and wild swimming. You’ll often find me at the water cooler promoting the importance of hydration and independent coffee shops.
