I’m very much a people person, so becoming an employment lawyer was always the obvious choice for me. Clients can rely on me taking a proactive approach, spotting potential pitfalls early so that we can address them before they might become costly issues.
I pride myself on having a good understanding of different sectors and practice areas, meaning I can generally give clients a more rounded perspective, enabling commercial, practical advice that clients truly value.
I’m also able to offer a slightly different perspective, being an employment lawyer and also in our HR consultancy sub-team. This means that clients can instruct me as their employment lawyer, or they can ask me to manage and deliver HR projects – with the oversight and foresight that only a qualified employment lawyer can bring. Clients find this adds real value, bringing together legal expertise and practical, hands-on experience.
Outside of work, I’m very interested in politics, so you can usually find me reading political books, or listening to political podcasts. I also love to train, so if I am not in work or reading a book, you will likely find me in the gym.
