Why choose me
I help clients in the education sector navigate complex regulatory frameworks, manage risk and ensure compliance with education law.
This area of law is constantly evolving and sits across multiple legal disciplines. My work focuses on statutory guidance and legislation, particularly around equality, and how this operates in educational environments. I’m passionate about promoting equality before the law and supporting clients to develop fair and transparent systems, policies and practices.
I advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters in education, working with academies, maintained schools, independent schools and other education providers. I have particular experience supporting clients with matters involving LGBTQIA+ children and young people, as well as handling disability discrimination claims and judicial review matters.
I take a proactive and client-focused approach, anticipating needs and delivering practical solutions that go beyond the immediate issue. I aim to provide a personalised, supportive and inclusive service, building strong relationships and ensuring clients feel confident and well supported throughout. I have also been recognised on the ‘O List’, which celebrates legal professionals who put people first.
I’m passionate about advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community and supporting pro bono initiatives, including working with a charity focused on due process and fair trial issues in US capital defence cases.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time in London’s green spaces and coffee shops. I also learnt to ski as an adult, and I enjoy regularly returning to the slopes to progress with this new skill.
