Why choose me
I’m passionate about helping people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, supporting them with divorce, financial settlements and arrangements for children when a relationship breaks down.
My work includes advising on child arrangements, including proceedings where there are allegations of abuse and alienating behaviours, and protective injunctions. I’m a Resolution Accredited Specialist in both private law children and domestic abuse.
I also advise on divorce, including guidance through separation and how to leave your partner, financial disputes arising from divorce and disputes between unmarried couples. I regularly represent clients in family law proceedings and support those engaging in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration.
I take a personalised approach to every client and case. There’s no ‘one size fits all’, so I focus on understanding what works best for you and tailoring my advice to your individual circumstances and preferences. I listen carefully, communicate clearly and aim to reduce the stress of the legal process by providing direction and reassurance throughout. I combine empathy with a practical approach to complex issues and challenges.
Outside work, I’m an avid foodie. I enjoy trying new restaurants and cooking for my partner and friends. I also like to stay active, whether that’s running with my dog or weightlifting.

Questions my clients ask me
While the starting point is often an equal division of assets, there are a number of factors that may lead to a different outcome. I’ll explore these factors with you and assess what a fair settlement would look like in your specific circumstances.
Parental responsibility can be restricted in certain circumstances, but this is rare and can only be done by a court order. The court will consider whether this is necessary and proportionate to protect the child’s welfare.
If court proceedings are ongoing, both parties will usually attend court. However, protective measures can be put in place if there are concerns about your safety. If I’m negotiating on your behalf outside of court, you don’t need to communicate directly with your ex-partner, as I can do this for you – although maintaining an amicable relationship is encouraged where possible. It may also be possible to attend mediation without direct contact.
