I advise clients across a broad range of finance matters, acting for both borrowers and lenders. I work on transactions of all sizes, from personal loans for individuals to multi-billion-pound facilities for household-name clients. This experience means I understand the priorities on both sides of a deal and take a balanced approach to negotiations.
I focus on going beyond purely legal analysis. Drawing on my experience across the transactional spectrum, I identify what can and can’t be negotiated and work towards solutions that make commercial sense. I take a hands-on approach, keeping transactions moving and making sure all parties are aligned throughout the process.
My recent experience includes advising borrowers on financings and refinancings, including managing the release and implementation of security and coordinating complex transaction logistics. I also regularly act for lenders, including banks and syndicates, on amendments and restatements, often involving cross-border elements and multiple stakeholders.
I also specialise in corporate and leveraged finance and real estate finance.
Outside work, I enjoy sport, particularly football. I also like to travel, especially to destinations that aren’t typical tourist hotspots.
