Guy Munnoch

Consultant

Why choose me

Following an extensive executive career within the insurance sector, I remain within the insurance sector but in a non-executive and advisory capacity.

My executive career spanned two Managing Director and three CEO roles including CEO of a publicly listed insurance company and CEO of Zurich UK GI, one the largest business units within Zurich Financial Services, globally. I also held senior positions within Aviva and Allianz.  In all roles, I was instrumental in leading transformational strategic, operational and cultural change.

During my more recent non-executive career, I have served on the boards, either as Chairman or Member, of two large insurance companies, an international insurance broker, an insurance and risk specialist law firm and an asset and vehicle finance company.

Prior to moving into financial services, I served in the British Army, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, commanding a selection of parachute and armoured units around the world.

I also have a passion for anything extreme having walked to both the North and South Poles, summited Everest, completed various ultra-marathons, motorcycled across the highest navigable path on earth and, in 2020, rowed across the Atlantic in under 50 days, setting a new World Record as the oldest 4-man crew to do so.
