Solicitor, BRICS Team

Why choose me

When someone is buying or investing in a business, I dig through the detail to identify any hidden problems, so they know exactly what they’re getting before they sign.

I specialise in corporate due diligence, looking at areas including corporate, employment, intellectual property, data protection, real estate and regulatory matters. I enjoy getting under the skin of a business, identifying risks and working out what they mean for the wider deal.

I work with SMEs, start-ups and owner-managed businesses, as well as family-owned companies, investors and acquirers. My clients span sectors including manufacturing, technology, logistics, construction, retail, events and the creative industries.

Alongside due diligence, I advise on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment and funding, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. I also support clients with business structuring, share option schemes and employee incentives, corporate governance, company secretarial matters and commercial contracts.

My corporate and transactional experience helps me turn due diligence findings into practical solutions that protect my clients’ interests and give them confidence in their decisions. I’m thorough and attentive to detail, but I don’t believe advice needs to be complicated. I explain complex issues clearly, focusing on what they mean in practice and what needs to happen next.

Outside work, I love to travel, particularly across Asia, where I enjoy exploring new cultures, trying new foods and seeking out adventure. I also host a self-development podcast, volunteer with community organisations and enjoy playing badminton.
