I’ve always been interested in property and spent several years as a corporate and commercial solicitor before deciding to specialise in commercial property.
This background gave me a real understanding of the needs and motivators for commercial clients and helped to shape the way I advise them on property matters. Commercial clients are often very busy and I ensure that any issues and advice is broken down and clearly presented so it can be digested quickly and easily.
Commercial property work can be very varied. My clients have included large scale commercial landlords, investors and pension schemes through to high street property owners and tenants. I primarily deal with landlord and tenant matters, sales and acquisitions and associated matters such as option agreements, deeds of easement and deeds of variation.
Approachable and commercially focused, I pride myself on making sure my clients understand the matter and have all the information they need to make the right decisions for them.
When I’m not at work I spend as much time as I can with my young family, although this can often mean freezing on the side of a football pitch! I also love travelling, especially in Italy, and cooking for family and friends.
