About me

Dispute resolution is about problem solving – my role involves investigating the facts, identifying issues, analysing and applying the law to provide practical, commercial advice to my clients. The litigation process can be stressful; it’s my job to take the stress out of the process wherever possible.

I provide bespoke, honest advice about the pros and cons of my client’s options at the outset.

Outside of work, my passions include playing netball and socialising with friends and family. I’m also a keen musician and enjoy watching musical theatre.

Top Tips & FAQs

Discover my top tips

Ensure you keep a good record and timeline of events and ensure you disclose all relevant information to your lawyer from the outset.

Ensure you seek legal advice as early as possible when being faced with a dispute as this can ensure you have as many options available to you as possible.

Be open-minded and willing to compromise. Sometimes accepting or making a ’without prejudice’ offer may be better suited to your goals than proceeding to final trial.

Read questions I'm frequently asked

How strong is my case?
From the outset of your dispute, I will be open and honest about the merits of your case and provide you with advice on all options available to you. The strength of the case will often change once further information comes to light, so I’ll frequently monitor these and provide you with updated advice.

How much will it cost?
This can be very dependent on how you wish to proceed with the case and how complex the issues are. I’ll provide you with a fee estimate from the outset and endeavour to keep you updated as to any changes in fees as your case progresses.

Do all cases go to court?
Not all cases go to court. In fact, the majority settle before reaching a final hearing through using alternative dispute resolution. I will always advise you on the benefits and risks of the options for settling and attending trial.
