Why choose me
I am a social housing development specialist, acting for housing associations, local authorities and developers on new residential development sites.
I help clients solve problems in real time, proactively spotting issues and offering practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.
I work collaboratively and take time to understand each client’s pressures, priorities and ways of working, so I can support them as an extension of their team. It’s not just about legal advice; it’s about being a reliable partner who communicates clearly, stays responsive and helps clients approach challenges confidently.
I’m highly experienced in working with housing associations on acquisitions, whether section 106 or grant funded strategic land led schemes, and have a deep understanding of the internal obstacles they face.
My work spans a wide range of development activity, including drafting and negotiating golden brick agreements, land agreements, conditional contracts, option agreements, building leases, legal charges and inter-company transfers. I also advise on shared ownership and open market site set-up, shared ownership lease requirements and matters relating to Designated Protected Areas and Rural Exception Sites.
My experience includes development-related issues such as deeds of easement and infrastructure agreements, as well as advising on section 106 requirements, mortgagee protection provisions and drafting deeds of variation. I also deal with nomination agreements, transfers of open space, bulk property acquisitions, affordable disposals and the set-up and disposal of shared equity properties.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, travelling and visiting new places. I also love to keep fit and get to the gym as often as possible.
