Nicola Boaden

Legal Director

Why choose me

Agricultural property law truly enthuses me because of all the challenging legal issues that need to be considered – and I love that I get to walk around farmland in my suit and wellies too!

I specialise in non-contentious agricultural property and help clients deal with their agricultural land in a manner that protects their best interests, regularly working with farmers, large landed estates and wildlife and conservation charities.

As a lawyer, I care deeply about my clients, commit to their cases and bring a keen eye for detail to the table. I’m thorough, a good listener and my flexible approach allows me to adapt the way I work to best suit each individual client.

I’m passionate about the agricultural industry and am a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association. I have a particular interest in the agricultural associations and institutions that support agriculture professionals and the farming community. I sit as the Secretary on the Oxfordshire Committee Branch of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution where I help to raise funds for (and awareness of) the RABI who support the personal development and financial and mental health needs of farmers.

Outside of work, I enjoy open water swimming, taking on woodwork and upcycling projects, and supporting my family – helping my son journey through life happily and my military husband to undertake meaningful deployments and postings. I’m a people person who loves socialising and I also sing in (and sit on the committee of) my local Military Wives Choir.
