Why choose me
Employment issues can be some of the most stressful challenges people face in their working lives. I help people and businesses resolve workplace issues, whether that’s supporting someone who has been treated unfairly or helping an employer manage a difficult staffing situation.
I’ve always been interested in the relationship between people and the workplace, particularly how discrimination can arise and the role employment law plays in tackling it.
With both HR qualifications and legal training, I bring a dual perspective and understand workplace issues from all sides. I provide straightforward, honest and commercially realistic advice, cutting through legal jargon so you understand exactly where you stand.
I advise employees on a wide range of workplace matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and workplace disputes. I also support employers of all sizes with issues such as performance management, disciplinary matters, restructures and workplace grievances. I regularly help businesses identify the best way forward when an employment relationship is no longer working.
My experience includes advising on employment tribunal claims, drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements and workplace policies, and providing guidance on equality and discrimination law.
Every client’s situation is different and my advice reflects that. I take the time to understand not only the legal issue at hand, but also the wider context and what a successful outcome looks like for each client.
Outside work, I’m a big tennis fan, whether that’s playing after work or watching from home with strawberries and cream. I also enjoy taking on running challenges, travelling to new places, discovering new food and spending time with family and friends. Good company and good food are hard to beat.
