A bit about me

As part of the Family and Dispute Resolution team at our Hereford office, I help people to see past their grievances to reach a fair conclusion, reducing the need for costly court proceedings.

I work with lots of different family set-ups and people from a variety of backgrounds, advising on divorce, children cases, financial settlements and property disputes. I also lend my expertise to commercial clients and individuals with regards to property and contractual disputes, trusts and wills disputes and disagreements in relation to boundaries and rights of way.

No matter the finer details of the case, I aim to resolve the dispute quickly and effectively. I put myself in your place to understand how you might be thinking and how you feel, and use this to help you negotiate with confidence.

Don’t stick your head in the sand – be realistic about what a successful resolution looks like.

You might have one idea about how to progress, but listen to my advice – I may be able to help you find a less costly and stressful process.

Negotiation isn’t about figuring out who’s right and who’s wrong – it’s about finding a fair solution that will help you move forward.

How long will it take?

It depends on the case, but as a general rule, most court proceedings take a minimum of 4–6 months to resolve. If it’s highly contentious and has to progress to a final hearing, the average is 6–12 months.

How much it will cost?

This depends on the process and nature of your dispute, but we take great care to estimate costs and work out a plan to make sure you’re in financial control of your case.
