I have more than 20 years’ experience in helping businesses navigate the increasingly complex business landscape.

My expertise lies not only in my understanding of commercial law but in my ability to grasp the risks and opportunities that are part of any business journey.

My specific commercial law experience includes:

• Advising franchisors when rolling out and maintaining large national franchises across sectors.
• Advising medium and large family businesses on governance and commercial matters.
• Advising businesses in Europe and the UK on their business dealings with South Africa.
• Acting as a board member and trustee of established South African and English non-profit companies.

I have a keen interest in procurement law, which complements my passion for helping businesses of all sizes develop new markets and operate within a compliant framework.

Before focusing on commercial law, I advised clients on litigation, insolvency and business rescue matters. This helps me advise clients on how to effectively mitigate risks and expedite business operations without compromising quality.

As a person, I’m interested in anything that tells a story: from travel to art; to music to reading.
