Why choose me

I have always had a keen interest in property and the property market and enjoy the varied workload which real estate offers. I act for  companies, charities, developers and private individuals  providing clear and pragmatic advice and solutions on a range of transactions.

I am experienced in all types of commercial property work including but not limited to freehold and leasehold property acquisitions and disposals, commercial landlord and tenant matters and secured lending. My specialisms also include SIPP and SSAS pension investment property transactions, business sales and acquisitions, unregistered land matters and high net worth residential transactions.

Outside work, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my young family.

Questions my clients ask me

A straightforward commercial property transaction generally takes 8-12 weeks, but this will entirely depend on the nature of the transaction involved. Some transactions complete quicker than this if there is an urgent deadline to be met. Others can take a lot longer if we encounter unexpected delays or issues.

Searches are not legally required, however my advice is that you should always obtain searches when you are purchasing or taking occupation of a premises. They provide a great deal of information and can highlight issues that you may otherwise not have known.

I will provide you with an estimate of fees at the outset of the transaction and will do what I can to keep fees within the estimate. However, there are times when a transaction can become unexpectedly protracted. If that happens, I will inform you when we are close to reaching the estimate and agree any additional fees with you before carrying out any further work.
